Beijing tax crackdown hits the City

Early enforcement cases in Beijing and Hangzhou reportedly show that policies taken out in Hong Kong have been hit with a 20pc tax. The move is part of a wider crackdown by Beijing on mainland residents putting money into financial products sold in the former British colony.
