China’s Big Five banks log fastest first-quarter profit growth in four years

On Friday, Agricultural Bank of China Ltd (AgBank), reported a 5.43 percent rise in first-quarter net profit, while the country’s largest bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd (ICBC), said its net profit grew 4 percent over the same period.
