China’s Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu and JD.com challenge Silicon Valley

But new generations of Silicon Valley start-ups or even US unicorns are becoming used to keeping a wary eye on the competition coming out of China, particularly in new growth areas of technology. China is catching up faster than most of them expected.
